📍 Overview: This project highlights my involvement in managing the technical cell, overseeing electrical stores, and driving strategic planning and procurement for electrical maintenance and upgrades across the plant.
👷 Key Responsibilities:
- Stores & Material Management: Monitor inventory and issue electrical spares to maintenance teams, Forecast spares required for the next financial year, Manage SAP MM entries, GeM purchases, and internal requests, Execute emergency local purchases during critical failures.
- Technical Planning & Engineering: Evaluate existing outdated systems, propose modernization plans, Prepare technical specifications for new materials/equipment, Coordinate approval, procurement, and commissioning of retrofit systems, Perform root-cause analysis of electrical delays in equipment operations, Design and propose modifications to prevent future breakdowns.
- Budgeting & Cross-Department Coordination: Plan, project, and control the electrical section budget, Collaborate with other departments for inter-departmental jobs, Track material consumption, raise PRs, and manage technical evaluations.
